According to a blog post on Baron’s Tech Trader Daily, Motorola has sent out invitations to a September 10, 2009 event. There wasn’t much detail provided with the invite, but most industry observers believe Motorola will either announce or launch their line of Google Android phone(s).

Rumor: A Pair of AT&T Phones Get Leaked
Engadget is reporting that AT&T has some new phone goodness headed our way for the back half of 2009.
If the frenzy around the Palm Pre coming to Sprint in just about 9 days doesn’t make your head spin, Palm fans should get ready for the Palm Eos which is expected to show up on AT&T. Eos is expected to replace the last Palm OS smartphone currently on the market, the Palm Centro. From the slides that Engadget got their hands on, we have now officially leared that Eos’ code name was the long rumored “Castle” smartphone.
Andorid fans should get ready for the new HTC Qwerty slider, Lancaster. Ringo Pro Released for Android
Little did I know that today was going to be “Android Day” here on Smartphone Fanatics.I just received word from the good folks across the pond in the United Kingdom that Ringo Pro is now available for Google’s Android platform.

MWC: HTC Magic Going Live on Vodafone
Last week at Mobile World Congress (MWC), HTC and Vodafone took the wraps off of the first hardware keyboardless smartphone, the Magic. Magic is powered by Google’s Android operating system and is running the “Cupcake” software build which comes complete with an on screen soft keyboard.According to the HTC website, the Magic has the following specifications:

- Memory: 512MB ROM, 192MB RAM
- Dimensions: 4.45 x 2.17 x 0.54 inches
- Weight: 4.18 ounces

T-Mobile G1 Hands On “Review”
I saw this over on EngadgetMobile this morning and I wanted to share it with all the G1 fans.
“Oh sure, you’ve already read over our (and Ryan Block’s) brief one-day impressions of T-Mobile’s G1, but one lucky (lucky!) user over at AndroidCommunity has been able to handle one for more than just a few hours. As a precious gift to the world, he’s penned a nice list of pros and cons along with a Q&A, and it seems that the “review” is actually growing with time.
